FCSB

FCSB stands for Fotbal Club Steaua București, a Romanian professional football club based in Bucharest. Originally known as Steaua București, the club was founded in 1947 and is one of Romania’s most successful football teams, having won numerous domestic league titles and Romanian Cups. The club also gained international recognition by winning the European Cup in 1986, becoming the first Romanian team to achieve this milestone. FCSB is known for its passionate fan base and its long-standing rivalry with other clubs, particularly Dinamo București. The club plays its home matches at the Arena Națională in Bucharest. In 2017, due to legal disputes regarding the use of the Steaua name and brand, the club changed its official name to FCSB, although it continues to be colloquially referred to as Steaua by its supporters.
